A
knowledge of the value and relative importance of the various structural
components of the complete road system is a prerequisite to the efficient
progressing of this COST Action.
With this in mind, Working Group 1 of COST 345 have drawn up a
Questionnaire to gather information on the age and condition of the more
common types of highway structure in Europe.
The results from this Questionnaire will underpin much of what will
follow in the Action.
